Jump Studios, a Populous company, has created a groundbreaking brand space and recording studio for adidas Originals within the Populous-designed Co-op Live Arena in Manchester. Developed in collaboration with adidas and Oak View Group, the innovative space combines a hospitality lounge with a bespoke recording studio, allowing guests to experience live music in an immersive, flexible setting. The lounge’s minimalist 1970s-inspired design, accented with subtle adidas branding, creates a fresh, welcoming atmosphere.

Engineered by Abbey Road Studios and supported by Experience Studios on the technical layout, the studio serves as a creative hub for emerging talent. It is open to the adidas Originals community and partners with Co-op Live, Abbey Road’s Amplify and Equalise programmes, and Factory International’s Factory Sounds to support young creatives.
Designed to function on both event and non-event days, the studio elevates the live entertainment experience and nurtures Manchester’s musical ecosystem. Acclaimed musician Liam Fray inaugurated the space with a live lounge performance, highlighting the studio’s accessibility and potential to break industry barriers. This unique collaboration celebrates Manchester’s musical legacy while equipping the next generation of talent with the tools and support to thrive.
